Hey! guys i wrote my gre twice, once i got 950 with awa 3
and other time 1050 with awa 3.5, wat do i answer if am
posed a question as why 2 attempts ? and why low scores in
both the attempts? i got i20 from 3 universities...
sir,this is vamshi. i completed my btech(cs)in 2006 and i
secired 59.25%.now am working as a associate professor in a
same college which is i studied(btech).my gre & toefl is
850,73 respectevly.i have 6 backlogs ,i applied for
tamu-commerce and i got rejected my visa recently.now am
applying my visa on 11 july'08.could you please help me how
can i support with this criteria? what are the expected

I'm planning to go to USA this fall 2008 semester. I've
applied for a university and have even got the I-20 form
from them. My problem is that I graduated secondary school
last year (2007) and since then, I've been studying in
Loyola college Chennai. I don't want the US university to
evaluate my application based on my performance there. If
the university knows that I've been studying there for more
than 18 hrs, they will want me to apply as a transfer
student which I certainly wouldn't want. So, I'm planning
to cover up the fact that I've been studying there. I'm
instead going to say that I took a gap year.
My questions are:-
Will the university ever come to know that I've been
studying in another college? How might that happen?
How will this affect the VISA process? Will the VISA
interviewer ever come to know that I'm lying?

Hello everybody.......I am Vishal from Bangalore....I have
secured admission in a flight school at USA for commercial
pilot training. Ill be appearing for M1 visa interview at US
consulate (Chennai) shortly. I am not taking any
professional guidance for my visa interview, so i would glad
if you guys can answer few of my questions and advise me on
the same.
Let me tel you guys a lil about my training. The duration of
my training is 7-9months. The cost of my training as
mentioned on I-20 is $45000 U.S. dollars. It includes 6
months accommodation, food and and utility expenses. I have
got a education loan from a nationalized bank. The bank has
sanctioned $41500 U.S. dollars. My parents are funding the
remaining amount required for my training and other
personnel expense .
My first questions that, Apart from the $45000 U.S. dollars
how much more funds will the interviewer expect me to have
at the time of my interview.
My second question is regarding the work permit. As you guys
know currently air carriers in India are suffering badly,
so they have stopped hiring pilots. If i perform well my
flight school is ready to employ me as a instructor. However
with M1 visa i can stay only for a year without any work
permit. So is it possible to apply for work permit and get
my visa extended at the end of my training without having
come to India?

Dear Sir, For financial assistance can i take sponsorship
from US green card holder(Relatives). It's take any
nagitive impact for getting F-1 Visa. actually i applied
for work study programme. for that university does not ask
GRE and Tofel score. Only they ask english profession
certificate from graduation. After completion of all
aspects i got i-20,In Visa interview any change is there
asking about my GRE and Tofel score and how can explain.

as nanduri.my i20 also recognised my surname as nanduru.i

actually university is not asking TOEFL score.Is it

According to US what exactly a backlog mean ? when v repeat
a subject twice is it considered as two backlog or as just
taken as one backlog...??? and r backlogs taken with

Hi , I have finished by B.E in 2006 ,after that i have been
working in Infosys from 2006 till date.My company has a
policy where i can avail a 1.5 yrs - 2 yrs of leave. Can i
tell this reason to the visa interviewer when he asks for
the reason for me to come back home ..India ??
I have applied for the university last year but differed the
application due to personel reasons.. in case the visa
interview asks me can i tell me that " as i was in middle of
some project i couldnt take up the course last year .."

hello everybody, I was rejected for the visa twice last for
fall-07 intake. According to me the reason for the
rejection may be my application for the visitor visa ten
years before. And moreover i am patel. so does it make any
impact. Now i am trying for spring 09 intake for the most
reputed university, so this time how r the chances of my
