i am using Business Objects 6.1(a) facing a problem.
ie when we save report in xls format then in xls sheet
pictures are inserted into rep file are not come. Is it a
bug. Give me answer as soon as possible. Thanks in Advance
In source system we have os - windows
BO - 5.1.5. with webi 2.7.1
Repository database - oracle
Reports database - Oracle and DB2
Nearly we have 1200 reports in present system , i want to
move as it is to new hardware

let me know is there any migration techniques in same

User name and password is saved by Business objects when we
create repository. and this username and password is saved
in Table obj_m_actor table in repository. The password in
incrypted form. It is possible to Dycrypt That Password.
How can you first report in Business Objects by using

Hi,
Webi report is created using universeA and this report
needs to be shifted to UniverseB.So when i am trying to
change report to new universeB from edit query properties,
the report just hangs at the point of changing source to
target.The reports which hangs mainly are the crosstab
reports that has large data and many formulas.
Any help on this is much appreciated.

Can I create a master report in webi having 15 dimensions
and 150 kpi's with 100GB of data and store it in cache ,So
that I can use Cache for building new reports with less
dimensions and Kpi's without hitting database againg just
using cache??Please suggest...
